The Consumer Content team at Ameriprise Financial produces award-winning content used to engage audiences across digital and traditional channels. As Senior Manager, UX Content, you will be leading a content team responsible for providing strategic content oversight for the secure site on ameriprise.com and the Ameriprise Financial app. You'll manage and implement content designs working closely with Product Owners, Designers and others to plan, write, edit, design, test and improve content. This position reports to the Director of UX Content, Platforms and Design in Consumer Marketing.
??? Collaborate with UX and Design teams to write UX copy and optimize user flows. ??? Translate content strategy into business and technology content requirements (page hierarchy, metadata, search and tagging) for solutions that meet consumer expectations. ??? Help ensure digital marketing tools and capabilities - existing and new - meet content requirements and enable best practices. ??? Ensure all published content adheres to compliance standards and Ameriprise brand guidelines. ??? Provide effective people leadership through coaching, feedback and performance management practices. Act as champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to individual or organizational success.
??? 5 - 7 years of experience in UX Content development or user experience. ??? Experience collaborating with UX teams to create digital media, usability, information architecture, and/or interactive design. ??? Solid understanding of front-end interactive design solutions for back-end systems. ??? Experience leading or contributing with content management and project collaboration systems. ??? Superior communication skills, including delivering presentations to senior leaders and various sized groups. ??? Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field.
??? Proficient in UX copywriting with a strong user-focus. Ability to write and edit usable buttons, form names, headlines, summaries and other micro-messaging such as user tips, home page highlights and more. ??? Experience in content strategy, management, creation, and editing. ??? Experience in analyzing and applying information from multiple sources including consumer trends, competitive and market challenges, user experience labs, search and social activity. ??? Financial services or similarly regulated industry experience. ??? Familiarity with agile project management. ??? Strong written communication skills.
