The Associate Director for Marketing Technology and Development is responsible for building, managing, and creating digital marketing strategies and plans for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This role is technical, creative, and innovative, with a heavy focus on CRM marketing, and plays a key role in supporting the university's undergraduate recruitment and enrollment goals. This would require the usage of computer languages such as HTML, CSS, Liquid Markup, and Java to style and create functions within the CRM. Additionally, have a full understanding of application integrations and web browser compatibility to troubleshoot any issues that arise when implementing these programming languages in the system. As a member of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, this collaborative role reports to the Director of Marketing, Strategy, and Research and works closely with the Associate Director for Marketing and Special Events, the Creative Director, and other director-level staff throughout the organization. They are responsible for developing and executing several admissions marketing efforts, including managing marketing CRM tasks and responsibilities; overseeing communication flows and marketing campaigns for various audiences; strategizing and developing digital outreach initiatives; providing oversight of admissions web properties and landing pages; and tracking and reporting admissions marketing analytics. To achieve these goals, the ideal candidate for this position is experienced in Slate CRM marketing and marketing automation and is technically savvy and data-driven. Experience in CSS, HTML, Java, liquid markup, responsive web code, etc. is preferred. Experience using Google Analytics and Search Engine Optimization is a plus. The Associate Director will assist with making strategic and tactical decisions for the office. The Associate Director will assist with major on- and off-campus events and may be expected to travel and periodically conduct admissions presentations. The position requires some evening and weekend work.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Systems, communications or related field and 2 years related experience; or equivalency. Position requires some evening and weekend work. Position requires limited travel and some evening and weekend work. Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to travel overnight occasionally for recruitment purposes.
