This position supports the organization and strategic priorities by developing marketing plans and coordinating internal resources and external agencies to implement and monitor marketing campaigns. Primary clients are internal administrative and physician leaders at Baystate Medical Center, Baystate community hospitals, Baystate Medical Practices, Baystate Health Foundation, Baystate Medical Center, Baystate Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, and other Baystate Health organizations.
1) Marketing Strategy and Marketing Communications Planning: Work as a consultant with operational leaders (administrative and clinical), and collaborate with divisional colleagues (strategic planning, communications, public affairs, fundraising, digital, sales) and others (human resources, finance) to strategize and implement plans to increase volumes and awareness, engage customers, and meet objectives. Develop strategic marketing communications plans and evaluations in collaboration with client partners. Coordinate and engage clients, staff, and vendors around goals, strategy & planning, tactics (i.e., advertising, events, web, social media), and content. Ensure all content and materials are understandable, accurate, and aligned with marketing plans and Baystate Health standards.
2) Finance and Results: Work with the vice president, director, clients, team, and Baystate Health finance to determine, prioritize, and manage marketing priorities, budget, and cost centers. Deliver marketing activity within agreed strategic priorities and budget—report on return on investment and key performance metrics.
3) Monitoring: Monitor, review, and report all marketing activity & effectiveness. Improve lead generation campaigns. Use marketing benchmarks/data, positive patient engagement concepts, assessment, and evaluation to assure feedback and monitoring of marketing messages and channels to maintain effective strategies. Monthly monitor and update plans and issue reports at least quarterly. Coordinate day-to-day marketing initiatives as appropriate. Monitor and recommend ways to achieve business, organizational effectiveness, and human resources objectives more efficiently and effectively.
4) Brand management & corporate identity: Develop, uphold, and grow the Baystate brand through brand strategy and the development and maintenance of brand guidelines. Conceptualize, guide, and deliver consistently branded materials across the breadth of Baystate services and products and all marketing channels. Adhere to service mark policies and procedures for Baystate Health names and branded entities.

Minimally Required Experience:
5-10 years of account and project management experience in an agency, advertising, and marketing organization.
Relevant product and industry knowledge.
Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
