Position Summary:
The Digital Content Manager reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives in the Office of Alumni Relations, Development and University Relations (DAUR).
The Development and University Relations (DAUR) at Fordham is comprised of many talented and high performing individuals who work across a range of functions from our leadership, to fundraising, marketing and communications, analytics, alumni relations, athletics, special events, stewardship, gifts processing, and WFUV. The division serves the entire University in a variety of different capacities. We are a team of 141 full-time employees.

Essential Functions:
Serves as the manager of social media platforms and digital marketing initiatives across platforms of the office of Alumni Relations, helping bring awareness to the University and the diverse stakeholder network around the globe.
Works with the Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and colleagues from across the University on identifying, planning, and executing effective content and strategies to engage our alumni, parents, and friends.
Responsible for daily digital content activities, including managing editorial calendar and posting content, monitoring and engaging with the online community, website and email content management, and collaborating with colleagues on marketing initiatives of the office of Alumni Relations.
Tracks the performance of digital content including social media, email, and website.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year experience working with social media and digital platforms.
An understanding of the social media space; knowledge of current trends and best practices for digital platforms and content.
Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Hootsuite).
Ability to create engaging content that aligns with strategic goals, voice, and brand look and feel.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally; a strong writer with proven copywriting ability for online platforms.
Highly attentive to detail and demonstrates excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment; flexible approach to working with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to learn new tools/applications as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Cloud or similar tools & techniques.
Experience with CRM software and content management systems.
Experience working with email marketing platforms (ex: MailChimp) and project management tools (ex: Basecamp).
Experience working with metrics and analytics.
Proficiency in Google Suite and comfort in adopting new digital tools.
Highly creative with experience in devising digital content that engages, informs, and motivates diverse audiences.
Experience working in a large institution and with cross-functional teams .
