Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary: The Internet Communication Specialist is responsible for online marketing and communications activities within a college, division or program.
Additional Department Summary: The Internet Communication Specialist manages and grows digital marketing (online paid advertising, e-mail campaigns, website and landing page development/updates, organic search engine optimization, etc.) for programs and departments within the College of Continuing Studies. Provides leadership and strategy. Deliver breakthrough online marketing strategies, creative campaigns, and measurement through analytics and optimization.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, computer science, management information systems, graphic design, communications or other relevant field and at least two (2) years of related experience; or Bachelor's degree or higher in an unrelated field and at least three (3) years of related experience or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills and Knowledge: Good (written and verbal) communication skills. Ability to work effectively across functional groups. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with HTML coding, WordPress, Power BI, and Google Analytics.
