The College of Public Health (CPH) is seeking a dynamic and innovative Associate Director of Marketing to focus on the execution of high-level marketing and communications deliverable and projects to advance our mission of building health champions in Kentucky and beyond.
The Associate Director of Marketing will, as part of the College of Public Health Marketing and Communications (MarCom) team, be charged with creating written content that conveys our accomplishment in areas including: students and academic achievement, alumni success, faculty research, partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders, community impact, and service to public health.
This position will also, in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Director, create strategies for content curation and distribution via web, social media, and other marketing channels.
This position will foster positive relationships within the College and campus, which will include, but not be limited to, the partnership with our internal Student Engagement & Academic Success (SEAS) department.
This position will support the Director of Marketing and Communication and work collaboratively with members of the Marcom team in managing all creative efforts, project management, website content, and other communication deliverables.
Experiences in higher education with a background in marketing to students (recruitment and retention), strong editorial experiences (AP style), and willingness to understand and adhere to the University of Kentucky's brands standards are strongly recommended.

Bachelor's or Master's in communications, journalism, English, or liberal arts field with strong writing component plus five or more years related experience preferred.
