Reporting to the Executive Director of Women's Entrepreneurship, the Program Coordinator will work closely with university partners and Advancement colleagues to enrich the Northeastern experience for women entrepreneurs, innovators and leaders. They will help and support the building of meaningful relationships between students, alumnae, external ecosystem partners and the university. Through robust programming and innovative digital marketing initiatives the team will engage and support a global audience of entrepreneurs, innovators, partners, funders and donors. The Program Coordinator will help the Executive Director oversee the student leaders of the Women's Interdisciplinary Society of Entrepreneurship (WISE) and execute the annual Women who Empower Innovator Awards.
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for executing the digital and social strategy for all women's entrepreneurship programming and initiatives, with the goal of increasing interest and engagement of WISE, Women Who Empower (WWE), the Women's Entrepreneurship Initiative (WEI), and more. This will include developing a content and editorial calendar that aligns with upcoming events, programs, and goals, as well are creating target emails and other outreach to constituents across a wide variety of channels.
The Program Coordinator works independently with minimal supervision and will proactively update their supervisor on the status of projects. They will schedule travel and handle expense reports, track and maintain department budgets, manage data entry and reporting for the department, manage calendars and schedules for the Executive Director, and prepare and edit correspondence with students, alumni, and parents. The Program Coordinator is also responsible for managing and overseeing event preparation and logistics for women's entrepreneurship events and programming, including: managing invitation and registration guest lists, vendor sourcing and communication, event production, and collaborating on event marketing and collateral.
The Program Coordinator acts as liaison with other groups across Northeastern University and provides for smooth day-to-day flow of communications. They must be comfortable regularly communicating with alumni, students, parents, and faculty.
The position requires a personable, energetic individual who is eager to contribute through excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as collaborative interaction with university partners and external constituents. This person must be passionate about women's entrepreneurship, understand the barriers that hold women back, and find pride in connecting and helping innovators.
Bachelor's Degree preferred; two to three (2-3) years of professional experience preferably in higher education and/or development required.

Execute on digital and social strategy for women's entrepreneurship and programing, including but not limited to WISE, WEI, and WWE. Identify stories and content to share across a wide variety of channels to interest and engagement.
Develop a social and email content and editorial calendar that is aligned with upcoming events, programs, and department goals.
Create, segment and schedule emails to parents, alumni, and other constituents.
Manage internal relationships with other teams such as Advancement Communications and Alumni Relations to coordinate and execute on social and email strategy.
Composes, proofreads, edits, and prepares correspondence, reports, and other materials.
Organize, coordinate, and execute one-time and recurring events for WWE, WEI, and WISE. Event logistics include: developing invitation lists, tracking responses and managing registration, overseeing event production, venue selection and preparation, coordinating marketing and event collateral, and more.
Collaborate with staff in various departments across the colleges, Advancement, Advancement Events, and/or the Office of Alumni Relations on university-wide and/or campaign related events.
Ensure a positive stakeholder and guest experience throughout the event life cycle by ensuring consistent, high-level customer service.
Administrative Support and Office Management
Provide key support and management of all logistics for the Executive Director. Manage calendar and schedule, make travel arrangements and reconcile travel expenses; prepare gift documentation. Reconciles budgets and procurement card reports. Research and prepare meeting agendas, briefings, and follow-up materials for both internal and external meetings.
Draft acknowledgements and other direct donor/prospect communications. Collaborate and execute on stewardship projects.
Stay up-to-date on Northeastern and related news. Act as a liaison with units and colleagues across the university on matters and activities related to women's entrepreneurship.
