Under limited supervision, reporting to the Executive Director of Annual Giving and Lead Generation (Executive Director), the Director of Annual Giving Programs and Services (Director) is responsible for the coordination and management of the direct and digital marketing solicitation and engagement services for the university. The Director will also oversee the annual giving programs, including matching gifts, student philanthropy, and employee giving. The Director will lead a team of fundraising professionals and develop the overarching omnichannel strategy for executing and evaluating a complex set of annual giving solicitations for the University of South Carolina's academic units, university priorities, and special interest programs. The Director will oversee the implementation and execution of the University of South Carolina's day of giving campaign, currently known as Give 4 Garnet. The Director plays an intricate role in establishing and delivering effective leadership, partnerships and communication with development officers and staff across the Division of Development. The Director will utilize Blackbaud CRM and other analytics tools to ensure that strategies are data-driven, personalized, timely, and consistent with the goals set forth within the Annual Giving and Lead Generation department. This position is a member of the Division of University Development and will operate within the system and procedures of UofSC Development to ensure consistent and well-coordinated activities.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience in an area such as alumni development, fundraising, prospect research, or business development. This position may require travel overnight to conferences for continuing education and professional development.
