The Marketing Specialist is responsible for coordinating and implementing traditional and digital marketing strategies that support organizational goals and improve brand identity. Serves to connect patients and community with YRMC healthcare resources through service line awareness. Provides comprehensive support with daily activities using independent judgement and creativity. Professionally and effectively maintains positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including YRMC leaders and departments, industry partners and community groups. Strong communication, project management and organizational skills are essential.
Works closely with the director and marketing strategist to implement traditional and digital marketing strategies that support organizational goals and initiatives. Monitors progress and helps ensure project timelines are being met. Serves as lead advertising buyer and negotiates sponsorship/promotional opportunities for the organization. Monitor campaign budget and provide consistent evaluations/reports on ad spend, goals and ROI. Assists with media relations and social media to positively position YRMC in public perception. Position would be expected to take media call rotation. Coordinates media production, including photography and video shoots. Provides support by writing outlines and scripts for production. Coordinates the development and distribution of high quality marketing collateral materials for patients, families and the community while maintaining corporate brand standards. Provides overall support for department activities including special events and programs. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED: Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of related experience.
Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday
