Due to fast business growth, Northmarq is hiring a Regional Marketing Manager at our Minneapolis (Bloomington, MN) headquarters office who will develop marketing plans for designated Midwest local (regional) offices and act as a liaison with Corporate Marketing to execute local-market marketing programs.
This individual works closely with the offices to plan and execute marketing activities to generate leads, nurture and convert prospects in the pipeline, and retain existing clients. This role works together with leaders and producers in assigned offices to align marketing plans to the unique goals of the region/office and therefore requires up to 25% domestic travel. The candidate will have a natural inclination to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities, strong project management skills, hands-on marketing development including graphic design skills, and must be comfortable orchestrating many moving parts for multiple offices. Key competencies include a high degree of customer service, a collaborative can-do approach, strong project management skills, innovation in digital marketing, and attention to detail.
Position Responsibilities:
Plan, produce, and execute regional and local marketing plans that align with division near- and long-term strategies, in support of annual sales and regional goals.
Translate national marketing initiatives and resources into regionally/locally relevant programs in support of local efforts.
Write and develop engaging content and coordinate the development of strategic thought leadership programs internally and externally.
Develop campaigns, collateral, and marketing programs leveraging content and product and service offerings with outputs including email campaigns and journeys, web content, articles and podcasts, advertising, and special reports.
Collaborate closely with the team of Regional Marketing Managers to share best practices and activate programs and campaigns that drive results.
Gather insights into personas, journeys, value propositions, and segments to inform digital, campaign, and marketing strategies.
Serve as the content expert to design and align the content against demand generation and client engagement marketing activities.
Collaborate with marketing and communications team members and internal stakeholders to develop product positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies that target clients and deliver compelling reasons to engage with Northmarq.
Intensely focuses on and defines client insights and campaign analytics to optimize the effectiveness of campaigns and content strategies.
Study competitor best practices and general market insights to drive successful marketing programs and test and learn innovative tactics.
Coordinate and execute the development of campaigns, events, collateral, pitchbooks, workshops, online events, and digital content.
Drive full-funnel marketing programs from lead generation to nurturing and retention.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience developing content, campaigns, and strategies in a B2B business to meet the needs of clients and prospects
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communication
Demonstrated marketing planning and execution experience including graphic design experience and ability to deliver campaigns using marketing technology platforms
Exceptional writing & editing skills with a proven track record of synthesizing complex information into compelling stories and client engagement strategies
Demonstrated experience building content programs from the ground up
Strong skills in marketing campaign management and deployment including experience with technology solutions like CRM and marketing automation platforms that deliver them
Experience defining and using insights and analytics to drive strategies and decision making
