Woodlands Academy is seeking a dynamic Social Media Manager to join a small, energetic team dedicated to promoting the value of an all-girls, Catholic, Sacred Heart education. This person will work closely with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications and report to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer. This key player will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive social media strategy as well as creating, editing, and publishing social media content across existing and yet-to-be-established channels.

Attributes and Qualifications (who you are and what you will do):
A passionate professional with extensive knowledge of and enthusiasm for social media strategies, trends, and tactics for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok.
A visual storyteller with excellent photography, photo editing, videography, video editing, and copywriting skills.
A strategically savvy social media marketer who can cohesively integrate Social Media content with other ongoing Marketing activities, including print collateral, advertising, PR, web updates, etc.
A growth-oriented team player interested in growing leads, inquiries, donors, and followers using appropriate tactics for organizational goals.
A brand story champion who can tailor Woodlands’ unique brand story to various audiences, including prospective and current students, their families, and alumnae.
A deft deadline manager who can easily juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities with grace and humor.
An active listener and diplomatic problem solver who can work with diverse perspectives while exercising flexibility and patience.
A conscientious individual who exercises sound judgment and observes professional boundaries with students and adults.
A collaborator with a mission-oriented heart who wants to join a community that helps each student cultivate her unique gifts in an environment of demanding academics to thrive in high school and beyond.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, with 2-3 years of experience is preferred. Candidates with an extensive social media portfolio will also be considered.
Ability and desire to support, implement, and model the Goals and Criteria for Sacred Heart Schools
Completion of Virtus: Protecting God’s Children training
Successful completion of criminal and sexual offender registry background checks
