The Senior Director, Digital Marketing functions within Keck Medicine of USCâs Marketing and Communications office to create an overall digital strategy that plans, roadmaps, implements and evaluates the full continuum of Web-based marketing strategies to advance Keck Medicine of USC. This includes all health system clinical programs and owned entities. The position also has oversight for the interactive strategies, including websites and social media strategy. The position focuses on interactive online methods to engage and attract patients, to increase referring physicians and to support transfers from other hospitals in support of the strategic goals of the medical enterprise. The candidate is the marketing technology expert in the room that can speak to marketing automation and use of data for marketing purposes.
In addition, this position will assist the department executive in defining digitally related organizational goals and strategic plans. The Senior Director will be responsible for digital marketing resource allocation, including budget and personnel.
The annual base salary range for this position is $133,120- $233,910. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidateâs work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.

Minimum Education:â¢Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer sciences, information technologies or related field, or equivalent knowledge required. Master's degree in related degree preferred. Minimum Experience/Knowledge:â¢A minimum of 10+ of proven experience in creating and managing successful digital marketing campaigns/programs and 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing department is required. Additionally, 5+ years of experience working in health care organizations is preferred.â¢Demonstrated knowledge and experience with developing, planning and executing paid digital marketing strategies and initiatives, including SEM, paid social media and display advertising campaigns. Possesses ability to analyze and develop complex business/marketing models for sophisticated acquisition programs. Requires technical understanding and expertise in front-end development, UX/UI, and reporting best practices. Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks as well as the ability to distinguish their benefits as it relates to marketing is preferred. In addition, road-mapping skills, product visioning, project management, critical thinking, communication, and presentation skills are imperative.â¢Experience with marketing automation and Salesforce products is required.â¢Experience in working with an Agile team using the Scrum framework is preferred.Required License/Certification:â¢Fire and Safety Certification. If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire, and maintained by renewal before expiration date. â¢Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly desiredâ¢Certification in information technology project management preferred
