ikon.5 architects is searching for a Director of Marketing and Business Development. We seek a detail-oriented, high-energy marketing professional with a minimum of 8 – 15 years of experience in the architectural industry to develop and organize the firm’s marketing efforts in a team environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate business development
Find, prepare and develop the responses to SOQ’s, RFQ’s, RFP’s, LOI’s, etc.
Coordinate, write, edit, produce and assemble marketing information in response to RFQ’s, RFP’s, LOI’s, etc.
Produce and coordinate the writing, editing, design and production of collateral marketing materials including project pages, resumes, supporting materials, etc.
Develop and advance relationships with supporting engineers, design professionals, contractors, etc.
Assist in the evaluation of and manage deadlines for marketing-related events, award submittals and conferences
Support firm leadership’s strategic communications and business development efforts
Coordinate and manage Social Media accounts
Core Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in English
Must have experience in describing architectural ideas in written and verbal form
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong graphic skills
Strong organizational abilities and excellent time management
Team-oriented with ability to multi-task several marketing efforts simultaneously
Experience & Qualifications
4-year college degree
Minimum of 8-15 years’ experience in design focused architectural practice
