Job Description:
At Regions, the Digital Audience Insights and Optimization Strategist has a deep understanding of data architecture, user behaviors and interactions to develop a holistic approach to inform optimization of site design and content and improve sales channel experiences. This position works alongside a cross-functional team of designers, content strategists, user researchers, developers, and marketers in developing a cohesive story through data, audiences, and content strategy across all stages of the consumer journey. This associate has an eye for detail and a mind that is both analytical and creative. This associate has experience taking a hypothesis-driven, data-centric approach with websites to inform audience-centered content, improve the user experience and drive return of investment (ROI).
Primary Responsibilities
Partners with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications/analytics tagging strategies to be passed to development teams
Validates web analytics implementation (pre and post deployment) and confirms adherence to the technical specification
Reviews and analyzes data to further supplement the user experience and help zero-in on the most impactful and meaningful areas of potential
Builds hypotheses to champion a data-driven, test and learn approach to optimizing customer journey and user experiences throughout the funnel
Builds tracking and measurement strategies to ensure proper evaluation across data and audiences with pre-defined key performance indicators (KPI), beginning with the implementation of Adobe Analytics
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to analyze data, develop hypothesis, and implement experiments
Works closely with paid social and paid search teams to help drive platform integrations, page optimizations and content strategy
Collaborates with product and engineers to effectively write and groom user stories
Recommends actions to maximize clicks, conversions, and lead generation efforts for traffic channels
Creates relevant performance dashboards to communicate results and insights to stakeholders
Creates visibility of customer journey from account opening to dropout across all channels to identify sales opportunities, improve customer experience, and reduce churn
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Five (5) years of experience translating data into actionable insights, digital marketing and website testing and optimization
Experience/familiarity with standard web key performance indicators(KPI) and measurement techniques for development and reporting KPIs
Experience with Adobe Analytics
Experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics platform is a plus
Demonstrated ability to synthesize information, prioritize efforts, and drive results with a strong sense of urgency and decisiveness
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, or related discipline
Experience using Ensighten Tag Management
Experience writing or editing JavaScript in web environments and tag management tools to accommodate custom tracking requirements
Skills and Competencies
Ability to manage and prioritize across concurrent tasks
Ability to work with multiple agencies to understand the full consumer journey stages and develop optimization recommendations
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority
Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Power Business Intelligence (BI)
Knowledge of online and offline data environments
Problem solver with technical understanding and appreciation of data
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down functional silos to optimize business results and encourage overall growth
Strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and develop a range of solutions on multiple issues
