POSITION DESCRIPTION
PIMCO Marketing is seeking a social media specialist to join the Brand Marketing team. The Senior Associate / Manager, Social Media will play a strategic and operational role managing day-to-day execution and oversight of our social media campaigns, including our community management and reporting. This person will work closely with stakeholders across marketing and the firm - to share best practices and collaborate on social media campaigns for PIMCO's thought leadership, products, strategies, brand and other initiatives, as well as support agency partnerships related to our social media activity alongside team leadership. This position will be located in PIMCO's Austin, TX office, though consideration will be given to candidates interested in our Newport Beach and New York locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Grow PIMCO's social media footprint while maintaining and enhancing the brand and reputation
Develop, implement and manage social media strategies across all of PIMCO's social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Hearsay) for all campaign needs
Partner with editorial and content teams to manage the content strategy, revise social copy as needed to fit channel requirements, and manage posting calendar
Partner with external agencies to support paid social media campaign development and optimizations
Proactively identify new and underutilized opportunities to expand our social media program (paid and organic)
Measurement, benchmarking and reporting on performance; identification of actionable insights relevant to PIMCO businesses and content
Manage PIMCO's internal employee ambassador program (Hearsay) with a rigor towards compliance requirements
Serve as a social media subject matter expert, globally
Stay up to date on the competitive landscape, trends, platform updates, and growth opportunities
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years qualified experience in social media, advertising, and/or digital marketing
Social Media strategy
Social Media execution and implementation
Project management
Knowledge in social media platforms and analytics
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Experience using social media content management tools

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 97,500.00 - $ 144,500.00
