Position Summary:
The marketing team at Yeshiva University is charged with attracting and delivering quality prospective students to inquire and apply to YU programs. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, with a dotted line to the Associate Dean for Graduate & International Programs at Cardozo School of Law, we seek an experienced Director of Marketing Data Intelligence to play a critical role in maintaining the marketing CRM and to synchronize its data with our enrollment CRM for smarter reporting and strategic thinking in both, marketing and enrollment teams for all graduate programs, including Cardozo School of Law. The Director will gather, organize, analyze, report and strategize relevant data in live, comprehensive modules, as well as comparing it to historical data and other relevant trends in the regional, national or international markets.
The Director will be responsible for leading a data-driven marketing culture across the institution. S/he leads the intersection of strategic decision making with marketing analytics and helps key stakeholders at Yeshiva make decisions that impact enrollment revenue. S/he will strategically lead efforts to maintain the Hubspot CRM with, add in functionality needed across individual graduate schools, standardize workflows, and track all quantifiable and actionable metrics to produce a full marketing and enrollment funnel snapshot. S/he will be responsible for using data to make key business decisions with leadership. He/She will be responsible for expert knowledge of the marketing database, data management and reporting.
This position offers flexible remote hours. Presence in the office for meetings or other projects may be required a few hours a week.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee the data management and analytics, servicing graduate marketing
Oversee and maintain Cardozo's marketing and admissions data, analysis, and reporting for Cardozo's JD, LLM, JSD, VRS and MSL programs providing dashboards and accurate reporting on a weekly basis, following both marketing and enrollment priorities
Lead the daily use, optimization, and maintenance of Hubspot CRM, and its synchronization with CRM Recruit for Cardozo's graduate & international programs
Lead all communication efforts for Cardozo's LL.M., VRS, JSD, and MSL in CRM Hubspot and Recruit
Work across graduate schools, including Cardozo, to ensure CRM reporting aligns with needed metrics for marketing objectives and can illustrate applicant pipelines
Use reporting platforms available within the University, such as DOMO
Delegate maintenance, reports, and projects to members of the team
Ensure internal and external data requests, enhancements, and customizations are addressed and responded to in a timely fashion
Perform ongoing training to users of systems, creating a self-service culture
Forecast prospect and applicant progression throughout the entire enrollment funnel
Perform real-time analysis to optimize the marketing teams
Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications to build an effective communications strategy that's both automated and dynamic, including email, text, phone, print, and other means and platforms
Lead opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of Hubspot CRM
Leverage internal data alongside process mapping and implementation planning to modernize and support the marketing and enrollment functions for Yeshiva
Cultivate relationships and collaborate with other academic units at the university, college and department levels to maintain effective reporting capability
Experience & Educational Background:
Candidates with a bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional experience working in higher education admissions or a competitive sales/marketing environment
Expertise with CRM Management and application building
Experience with quantitative analytics and excel reporting
Demonstrated track record in management of diverse staff to build consensus and achieve institutional goals
Experience developing new tools for capturing and evaluating data, and ability to effectively communicate data analysis results to a diverse audience required
Skills & Competencies:
Experience working with CRM is preferred
Master's degree in a relevant or related field; and/or additional work experience beyond ten year minimum is preferred
Professional experience in the higher education and/or admissions and recruitment context is strongly preferred but not required
Exceptional oral and written communication skills are necessary
The successful candidate will have good analytical skills in data management; a thorough understanding of how to gather, codify and analyze data to create reports to inform decision-making
Ability to exercise independent judgement and discretion
Demonstrated track record of taking initiative, being proactive, and remaining flexible and resilient
Evidence of strong interpersonal skills, preferably in the context of working with student populations, is required
Demonstrated ability to be flexible and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment and consistently meet deadlines
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $110,000
