Position Requirements:
A successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience working in marketing, communications and/or public relations, with demonstrated success. Previous experience with association or non-profit work is desirable, but not required. Experience working with volunteers is desirable. A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in marketing, public relations, or communications.
The candidate must be committed to working with shared leadership and in cross?functional teams; demonstrate skills, knowledge and experience in design and execution or marketing, communications, and public relations activities; and have strong creative, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills. The incumbent but also have excellent written and oral communications skills; demonstrate use of various technologies to market programs and services, including social media, Adobe software products, Google Ads, MS Office and online platforms, including WordPress and Constant Contact; and have experience developing and adhering to budgets. In addition, the ability to manage multiple projects at a time, work under pressure, meet deadlines, assimilate information quickly, and work well with the members and coworkers is necessary Out?of?town, overnight travel may be required up to 15 days per year.
