Prepares reports and presentations on social media marketing activities.
Train lower-level marketing staff.
Manage day-to-day marketing and communications systems and lower-level staff.
Responsible for executing strategic marketing plans that support on and off-campus marketing efforts.
Designs and oversees new media and marketing campaigns. Solves complex problems and identifies opportunities for technical improvement and performance optimization.
Utilizes technical knowledge of existing and emerging technologies, including but not limited to Social Media Applications.
Regularly review marketing assets for quality updates and improvements and ensure all marketing assets are aligned and consistent with our brand standards.
Acts as a technical consultant and resource for faculty research, teaching, and/or administrative projects.
Manage a team of marketing and communications staff.
Develops marketing communications, advertising, or publicity materials with a moderate level of guidance from others. Develops, plans, and coordinates the development and production of marketing and publicity materials and campaigns, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
Performs one or more of the following marketing functions: marketing communications/advertising; Web blogs or digital marketing; market research; development or review and update of the marketing infrastructure and management of external sales agency relationships.
â‹Monitors analyzes, and reports on sales and circulation activity. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Conducts market research analyzes results, and develops marketing strategies based on findings. May participate in developing new products and services, and determining new markets.
Performs other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
Experience in a health research environment and managing the development of new assets.

Knowledge of utilizing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Knowledge of common media and marketing platforms used to engage populations.
Ability to design and oversee the implementation of marketing and media campaigns.
Ability to create titles and taglines, and identify strong hooks and angles for marketing and media material.
Oversee direct reports within the media and marketing team.
Strong written communication skills.
Experience leading diverse teams.
