The Center on Public Diplomacy (CPD) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Marketing and Communications Officer. The primary responsibilities for the position include: develop, write and edit marketing and communications materials, including newsletters, social media content, announcements, press releases, etc. as assigned; coordinate the design and distribution of promotional materials in online and offline channels; administer the Centerâs marketing calendar; and monitor website and social media pages and address audience queries.
The Marketing and Communications Officer will provide direct support to the Centerâs director on marketing strategy and implementation, and will work closely with other functions at CPD to build relationships with leaders and organizations in the public diplomacy community.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelorâs degree
Three to five years of experience in marketing communications or similar role.
Excellent written, visual and verbal communications skills and prior experience with communications on social media, web content management tools and digital analytics are critical requirements for this position.
Candidate must have a strategic mindset and be highly organized, entrepreneurial, and adaptable.

This is a full-time, grant-funded staff position.
The hourly range pay range for this position is $25.64 - $27.17.
