The Digital Marketing Manager works closely with Digital Marketing leadership to manage the execution of demand generation and conversion campaigns across key audiences to support growth for Northeastern University degree programs. He/she will implement lead generation strategies and manage channel level performance against well-defined measurement frameworks. Activities must drive and support annual domestic lead and enrollment goals, increase awareness, and contribute to the overall success of Northeastern University and its programs.
The Digital Marketing Manager will work to drive growth in the generation of new prospective students for the University. They will partner closely with agency partners and cross-functional members of the enrollment management team to launch, measure, and optimize campaigns across digital channels that may include search, display, paid social, video, audio, etc. They will be focused on continuous improvement - seeking opportunities for testing and improvements within campaigns. To manage this work effectively, the candidate will be an expert project manager who will oversee the execution of various projects in support of campaigns as well as help with overall management of the marketing budget.
The Manager is a passionate problem-solver who will actively stay on top of market trends and digital tactics and serve as a team-expert for managing and optimizing campaigns for the rest of the team. They will work with team members to identify opportunities to generate interest in degree programs, and other identified marketing programs and priorities.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Drives channel level plans for demand generation and conversion campaigns across the funnel for key target audiences in order to meet KPIs.
Develops, launches, tracks, and optimizes of demand generation campaigns across performance marketing channels that may include - search, display, paid social, video, audio, etc.
Effectively project manages portfolio of digital initiatives and priorities
Builds and maintains relationships with key agency partners and vendors who support digital marketing efforts including regular meetings, monitoring performance of the agency, and liaising between the agency and other partner marketing teams.
Leverages marketing tools, systems, and platforms to execute and measure campaign effectiveness.
Assists with development and oversight of marketing budget. Ensures timely processing of invoices and contracts for marketing expenses.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of digital marketing experience
At least 3 years of experience with managing digital marketing campaigns, channels, and tactics that support awareness building and demand generation
Experience developing measurement plans and analyzing marketing campaigns, especially within digital tactics
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects across various initiatives, vendors, and channels
Experience working with tools, systems, and technology to execute and analyze marketing campaigns
Strong collaboration skills, with internal and external stakeholders
Experience working at, or with, digital marketing agencies
Bachelor's degree required
