California Residents: Northmarq carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum starting salary for the Marketing/Transaction Coordinator position is $64,480.00 annually or [$31.00 per hour] plus bonus and full benefits offered. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.

Northmarq is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Marketing/Transaction Coordinator to support our Walnut Creek, CA team. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the individual will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The to-be-hired Transaction Manager will play a key role in the evaluation and marketing process while obtaining extensive exposure to multifamily assets both in the private capital and institutional space throughout the country, and will be joining a top performing sales team in commercial real estate.

Position Responsibilities:
Marketing Coordination Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Investment Sales team in the development of proposals, presentations, and any other additional sales aids as needed
Conduct market research, including sourcing/mining data, evaluating information, and analytical reporting as needed
Track and evaluate marketing efforts, Investigate and promote the use of new marketing tools
Develop, amend, and/or maintain the teams marketing campaigns
Coordinate with corporate marketing team to create best-in class-marketing presentations and collateral materials
Take on additional marketing and design responsibilities as team grows
Transaction Management Responsibilities:
Assist team in managing Northmarq’s Salesforce-based CRM system with multiple real-estate focused add-ins will be critical for our team’s business generation and execution of marketing assets
Assist team in managing client relationships including scheduling meetings/property tours and document request/access
Partner directly with team on sales pitches and fully marketed campaigns and transactions
Assist in tracking business development endeavors, active real-estate listings and closings for Managing Director.
Assisting and managing teams’ transaction due diligence and closings
Coordinating third party vendors for marketing purposes and closing transactions
Take on additional transaction management responsibilities as team grows
What We're Looking For:
Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Real Estate or related discipline preferred
Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required in Commercial Real Estate, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe CC suite of programs; Excel, InDesign, Photoshop (required). Experience in Salesforce a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
Operates with a sense of urgency, proactive and take initiative
Strong verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills
Works well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others
May require on-call activity after regular office hours as needed
