Overview
As a professional firmly rooted in the digital communications space and equally versed in both the established and emerging digital communications world, this role is expected to anticipate and identify digital media trends before they are accepted in the mainstream. This role is responsible for top-funnel growth for undergraduate enrollment, and as such should bring a strong desire to advance change and innovate in one of the most operationally significant (by budget, audience, and activity) marketing operations in higher education. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications, and working closing with the Assistant Director of Engagement the incumbent will be a data & KPI-driven marketer who directly manages web strategy through experience with analytics, web content development, and lead generation (including vendor management, strategy development, creative execution, and assessment), and oversees the full-funnel digital journey for prospective students in a global context using a broad spectrum of tools (web content management, e-mail, social media, video, paid media, search engine optimization, etc.).
Responsibilities
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: 3+ years experience in the marketing/communications field
Preferred Experience: 3+ years experience in the marketing/communications field, preferably in the context of a college or university, or agency
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Background in website management and performance marketing with a demonstrated record of success. Experience in digital advertising, email marketing, managing web content, and data analysis and reporting. Experience with web content management systems, HTML, and Google Analytics. Experience with enterprise information systems (e.g. CRM). Excellent writing and communications skills. The ability to work collaboratively across organizational lines. Proficiency in web content development methodology, analytics software, and standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excited to learn about and engage Gen Z & Gen Alpha across multiple channels and contexts.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Experience with coding, web design and/or web content strategy.
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $100,000.00.
