MARKETING PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Office of Strategic Alliances and Technology Transfer (OSATT)-Technology Licensing Office (TLO), to work closely with the communications and marketing manager to oversee the coordination of critical marketing efforts in a dynamic and fast-paced office. Will ensure the successful execution of TLO marketing efforts for early-stage MIT intellectual property available for licensing, including managing a complex workflow process; and serve as a thought partner to the manager. The position is ideal for someone interested in learning new skills as it offers an opportunity to contribute to other projects on request, which may include writing social media content, event planning and management, and modifying documents and collateral designed in Adobe Creative Cloud.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least one year of communications experience; social media and editorial experience; and excellent problem-solving and written and verbal communication. Must be able to work independently; manage multiple competing projects with rapid deadlines; and work collaboratively and flexibly on teams and with diverse stakeholders that include faculty, researchers, students, and licensing professionals. PREFERED: experience in higher education; administrative experience; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud Design, Drupal, and Salesforce; video editing skills; strong interpersonal skills that reflect a diplomatic and collaborative approach to developing and maintaining effective working relationships; and an interest in learning about and taking on new projects.
