DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
UC Treasury manages over $100B in annual cash flows and serves as a systemwide partner in cash and liquidity management, banking services, and cash forecasting. While UC Treasury has been a part of UC's Office of the President for over 20 years, the team has recently witnessed an evolution in the group's purview and scope. The team's fundamental purpose was redesigned, shifting its focus from tactical processing to strategic partnerships throughout the UC system. The team continues to look forward as it embarks on advanced technology to improve and secure their systems, operations, and support to UC. UC Treasury is a key internal partner that further deepens our systemwide relationships.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated college student with a passion for communications, web design, and digital organization to join our team as an intern for the summer. As an intern, you will assist in creating and executing digital content, web design projects, and managing our digital assets.
This is a full-time summer internship position, with a flexible start and end date. If you are passionate about digital marketing, web design, and communications, and want to gain hands-on experience in these areas, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Treasury team to develop and execute secure, digital content for communications, website, and other digital platforms.
Assist in creating and updating website content and design elements or develop a very thorough plan and pathway towards website creation.
Collaborate with other internal partners to ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all digital platforms.
Conduct research on best practices for digital marketing, content, and communications campaigns.
Help to organize and manage digital assets such as images, videos, and documents.
Assist in developing and executing email campaigns to garner information content from UC locations.
Develop a monitoring system that analyzes web traffic and communications metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
Help to coordinate and execute virtual events and webinars.
Assist in other related tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled University of California student.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for content creation.
Proficient with web design principles and experience with website creation and/or management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Education
High school graduate and/or equivalent experience/training.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary: $19.96 - $24.95 hourly commensurate with skills/experience. (30-40 hours per week)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Position is 100% remote. Travel to nearby UC campuses expected. The position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
