DIGITAL MEDIA STRATEGIST, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab (CSAIL)-Alliances Program, to play a key role on the Alliances team, which is composed of the CSAIL Alliances Program (CAP), multiple research initiatives, large-scale special events, industry visitor program, professional programs, and projects. Responsibilities include contributing input into marketing and communication strategy in order to deepen and broaden Alliances relationships with member companies, prospects, and the public.
REQUIRED: bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications, English, or public relations; three years' directly related professional marketing, website, and/or social media management experience; excellent interpersonal, customer service, analytical, problem-solving, time-management, organizational, writing, editorial, content development, proofreading, and fact-checking skills; discretion, tact, and good judgment with sensitive/confidential information/issues/situations; advanced-level computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the internet, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Google Analytics, Constant Contact, Pardot, and a content management system like Drupal; understanding of HTML; ability to use and manage social networking channels (YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn), wikis, and tools such as Hootsuite or Trello; self-motivation and initiative; willingness to learn; and attention to detail and presentation. Must be able to copyedit written work for grammar, spelling, accuracy, format, and tone; track changes and check consistency and accuracy of written materials; prioritize multiple projects and competing demands under pressure; accept and integrate feedback, meet deadlines, and ensure quality expectations are met; work independently and collaboratively in a team-based environment across all levels; and adapt to change in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
