Job Summary:
The Marketing Departmentin the College of Business, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a Clinical Professor of Business Communications (Open Rank).
This is a non-tenure track position starting Spring 2023. The Business Communication curriculum includes verbal, written and virtual business communication such as resumes, cover letters, interviews, presentations, and a weekly professionalism lab. Faculty are also encouraged to recruit guest speakers from the DFW area to help students develop professionalism and networking skills. Additional teaching opportunities may exist for courses related to electronic marketing communications, such as digital marketing and/or social media marketing.
Candidates hired at the rank of clinical assistant professor will primarily engage in instruction and have teaching experience and qualifications comparable to those of faculty members in tenure-track positions.
Candidates hired at the rank of clinical associate professor will primarily engage in instruction and have teaching experience and qualifications comparable to those of faculty members in tenured positions.
Candidates hired at the rank of clinical professor will primarily engage in instruction and have teaching experience and qualifications that demonstrate extraordinary service and performance.
