Essential job duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Lead the development, management, and maintenance of all marketing materials, educational materials, social media platforms and social marketing outreach materials, and digital and printed content for RFS.
Develop, manage, and maintain the social media pages, and collaborate with RFS staff on the social media strategies and posts using platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, RFS Website, etc.
Coordinate, create, write, and distribute the Emailed Lessons, Printed Lessons, and Indirect Education Programs/Projects.
Create digital and printed content such as posters, recipe cards, flyers, promotional materials, and digital and printed lessons through multiple design applications such as Canva, MailChimp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Using strategic and creative abilities, provide oversight and determine best practices for all marketing and social marketing interventions, including develop new programs, projects, and materials aligning with the vision, values, and goals at RFS.
Work and coordinate with the North Carolina Division of Social Services (NCDSS) to develop appropriate marketing strategies for RFS.
Deliver some direct education to fulfill all objectives and goals outlined by RFS and SNAP-Ed contract with NCDSS and USDA.
Minimum Qualifications
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN A DISCIPLINERELATED TO THEAREA OF ASSIGNMENT; OR EQUIVALENTCOMBINATION OF TRAININGANDEXPERIENCE. ALLDEGREESMUST BE RECEIVEDFROMAPPROPRIATELYACCREDITEDINSTITUTIONS.
Preferred Qualifications:
MA or MS degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline
Equivalent combination of training and 3-4 years of experience in the marketing or content-creating field
Some understanding of the USDA/SNAP-Ed program and/or some knowledge in nutrition and/or food marketing.
Some data analysis experience to be able to provide insight and analysis on marketing data and strategize best reporting practices for marketing data necessary for monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Demonstrate qualitative and quantitative research experience.
Familiarity with Spanish.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA degree in social science, social work, public health, business, marketing, or a related field.
Other Required Qualifications:
Experience in marketing.
Experience in planning, coordinating developing, and implementing educational materials and marketing materials.
Ability to create digital and printed materials through multiple design applications such as Canva, MailChimp, and Adobe Creative Suite for marketing materials.
Demonstrate strong skills in written and oral communication, organization, and planning
