The Alumni Marketing & Communications (AM&C) team within External Relations is responsible for alumni engagement and fundraising communications to Harvard Business School (HBS) alumni. The role of AM&C is evolving as the School embarks on a digital transformation. This will call for a cutting edge approach to digital marketing and marketing strategy in order to more effectively and efficiently promote content, programs, and events to a broad alumni population, as well as targeted segments within that population. The successful candidate for Associate Director, Integrated Marketing, will join the organization at a pivotal time as AM&C deepens its understanding of the alumni and their needs, and takes a holistic view of alumni's lifelong connection to HBS. This role is an important step toward building a more strategic marketing function. The Associate Director, Integrated Marketing, will report to the Senior Director, Alumni Marketing & Communications.
The HBS External Relations team, which includes AM&C, is dedicated to strengthening the lifelong relationship between alumni and the School by delivering meaningful engagement and learning, and by inspiring philanthropy that supports and extends the HBS mission of educating leaders who make a difference in the world. Our organization is unequivocally committed to the core values of racial equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging, and empowers all staff to embody these principles in our internal work with colleagues and our external work with alumni, donors, and friends of the School.
Following the conclusion of a successful campaign that raised $1.4B – the largest campaign in the history of graduate business education – and deepened relationships between alumni and the institution, Harvard Business School remains committed to leadership in the advancement field. Propelled through the pandemic by a spirit of innovation and with a new dean who has articulated an ambitious and bold set of priorities for the future, now is an exciting time to join the External Relations team at HBS.
