POSITION SUMMARY: The Assistant Director, Digital Communications and Analytics, Advancement Communications and Events, creates and implements digital marketing and communications and tracks and analyses metrics and outcomes in order to strengthen relationships with the College’s alumni, parents, donors and friends, build loyalty and commitment to the College’s mission and secure gifts that benefit the College.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, marketing, journalism, a liberal arts field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Licenses/Certificates: A valid driver’s license is required or equivalent means of reliable transportation to off-site meetings and events. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of digital marketing and communications or related experience is required. Experience in higher education, a not-for-profit institution, or an advancement/development office is preferred.
REQUIRED HOURS: The regular hours for this full-time position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Weekend and evening work may be required. Regular hours may vary due to needs of the College or division. Hybrid schedule is available.
ANNUAL SALARY: The monthly salary for this temporary six month role is between $5,160 and $6,330. The specific factors that the College will consider when offering a salary to an individual will include, but not be limited to education, training, relevant prior experience, and performance in prior roles.
The Claremont Colleges, a consortium of five undergraduate liberal arts colleges, two graduate institutions, and Claremont University Consortium, which provides shared institutional support services, is reminiscent of the Oxford-Cambridge model. The undergraduate colleges include Pomona College, Scripps College, Claremont McKenna College, Harvey Mudd College, and Pitzer College. The two graduate institutions include Claremont Graduate University and Keck Graduate Institute.
