Develop and implement a strategic communications plan that drives measurable brand awareness and increases engagement.
Develop a strategic, mission-aligned student communication and marketing strategy that spans the student life cycle, from prospective students to new alumni.
Create and disseminate material to drive student recruitment, including digital and print advertising and communications.
Utilize market research to make informed and data-driven decisions about how to best identify, target, and enroll prospective students.
Manage program and office websites, and related social media channels (e.g. developing, posting, and updating content as needed to increase engagement).
Identify and facilitate opportunities to increase OMEâ™s visibility, fundability, and voice through global, national, local, and/or trade press engagements.
Collaborate with internal and external partners, including University Communications, BSD Communications, University of Chicago Medical Center Communications, community organizations, industry partners, and others.
Create and implement an OME brand identity in adherence to University guidelines.
Develops marketing communications, advertising, or publicity materials with a moderate level of guidance from others. Develops, plans, and coordinates the development and production of marketing and publicity materials and campaigns, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
Monitors, analyzes, and reports on sales and circulation activity. Analyses possible solutions using standard procedures. Conducts market research, analyzes results and develops marketing strategies based on findings. May participate in developing new products and services, and determining new markets.
May train the work of lower level marketing staff.
Perform other related work as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Education:
Masterâ™s degree strongly preferred.
Experience:
At least three years of work experience in a similar job discipline.
