Nebraska Pro Volleyball/Omaha Supernovas is seeking a Senior Director of Digital Strategy & Content Creation for Nebraska Professional Volleyball. This position will report to the VP of Marketing & Public Affairs and work closely with the VP for Corporate Partnerships & Ticketing, and Nebraska Pro Volleyball team members to drive the execution of digital marketing strategies and coordinated campaigns to expand the Nebraska Pro Volleyball/Omaha Supernovas brand and build the fanbase and community.
Job Duties:
•Work as a collaborative member of City+Ventures and Nebraska Pro Volleyball team, with a standard of partnership and excellence.
•Create & deploy successful marketing campaigns and own the strategy, from concepting/ideation, to, content creation, to execution.
•Lead strategy and manage all digital marketing channels, and social media to ensure brand consistency, as well as collaborating on website.
•Produce valuable and engaging content for our social media platforms that attracts and converts our target fan base.
•Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals. Analyze consumer behavior and adjust campaigns accordingly.
•In collaboration with VP of Corporate Partnership & Ticketing and team members develop strategies and tactics to create brand awareness for the NE Pro Volleyball team and drive qualified inbound leads to the corporate partnerships and ticket sales teams.
•Manage social advertising and ad spend across platforms for ticket sales.
•Will accept other responsibilities and duties required by the VP of Marketing & Public Affairs.
Knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
•Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•Minimum of ten years of experience in digital content, marketing, community partnerships, communications/public affairs, or related field(s).
•Experience in sports related communication, marketing, and engagement, preferably in Collegiate Athletics and/or Professional Leagues.
•Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and data-driven measurement.
•Experience in working with technology platforms and software associated with digital and traditional marketing and communications, including content creation and analytics.
•Social advertising experience and can manage paid advertising spending across platforms for ticket sales and other needed branding/marketing efforts.
•Ability to work with a wide range of people from coaches and athletes to media contacts to public/fan community, as well as corporate representatives and dignitaries.
•Proven strength in communication (written, verbal, and associated technologies).
•Detail-oriented problem-solver who can employ leadership, critical thinking, time management and prioritization skills.
•Willingness to learn and flexibility to shift as priorities change.
