As a Junior SEO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and driving organic traffic to our digital properties. This role reports directly to the Global SEO Lead and offers the flexibility to work remotely several days a week.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:Â
Content Optimization: Review and optimise existing or new website content for SEO, ensuring alignment with keyword strategy and best practices.Â
Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors' SEO strategies and identify opportunities for improvement.Â
Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify valuable search terms and trends related to commercial real estate. Analyse keyword performance and recommend optimisation strategies.Â
On-Page SEO: Collaborate with content creators and web developers to implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and content structure.Â
Local Keyword Targeting: Develop strategies to target local keywords and phrases, including location-specific long-tail keywords, to boost visibility in local search results.Â
Local Citations and Listings: Manage and optimise local citation and business listings on online directories, ensuring consistency and accuracy of NAP (Name, Address, Phone) information across platforms. Work with local markets to support the use of the tool. Â
Technical SEO: Identify and address technical issues that may impact website performance, such as site speed, mobile-friendliness, and crawlability.Â
Link Building:Assist in the development of link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.Â
SEO Reporting: Generate and analyse SEO performance reports using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO software. Provide insights and recommendations based on data.Â
Qualifications/Skills:Â
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Digital Marketing, or a related field.Â
2+ years' experience in B2B or agency Â
Strong passion for and understanding of SEO principles and techniques.Â
Knowledge of SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar.Â
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Â
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Â
Strong written and verbal communication skills.Â
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.Â
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.Â
