Position Overview
In partnership with the Marketing Manager, the Design & Marketing Support Specialist will have the opportunity to create visually appealing and engaging designs to enhance our brand identity and promote our products and services. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong creativity, and proficiency in graphic design software and will work closely with the marketing team to develop various marketing materials, including digital assets, to effectively communicate our clients message to our target audience. Additionally, this role will coordinate general marketing, social media, event, public relations and advertising activities for the Bank, and assist the Marketing Manager and Director with various assigned duties, as appropriate.
Primary Accountabilities
Create designs and advertising materials for website, social, paid media, product merchandising, print advertisements, and other high-priority marketing efforts.
Design customer-centric graphics for email marketing.
Create visually appealing designs for a variety of marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, posters, signage, and print advertisements, to promote our products, services, brand and special promotions.
May be called upon to assist in the creation of presentations that turn content into visually compelling presentations.
Support the Marketing Manager in the development of e-mail marketing campaigns and monitor KPIs of all campaigns.
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, assist with designing, scheduling, and maintaining in-branch advertising displays.
Coordinate and assist in marketing, advertising, programming, and facility arrangements to ensure that special events, branch openings, seminars/webinars, trade shows, promotional programs, and community meetings run smoothly. May require participation at events as well.
Assist with identification of requirements for meeting, seminars/webinars, community events and trade shows; includes project scope for event coordination and any collateral, give-away, information assembly.
Participate in community projects that enhance the Bank's image while advancing its objectives/mission by working with members of the public and community groups.
Support Marketing Manager across all department tasks.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills Education and Work Experience
Undergraduate degree required. Specialization in Marketing/Communications preferred.
1-2 years of marketing experience helpful.
Versatile portfolio in both print and web.
A strong aptitude for creativity and problem-solving with a keen eye for detail and visual polish.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft PowerPoint.
Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Strong collaborator and team player who is willing to take criticism on designs.
Highly organized with the ability to work on, manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to articulate recommendations that support the Bank’s growth and marketing plans.
Knowledge of current and emerging online tactics to assist in driving revenue and growth.
Ability to analyze campaign information with an eye toward ROI and bank growth.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills are a must for effectively supporting the internal team and gaining/maintaining internal trust across business lines.
Experience working with various social media tools and leveraging social media research and insights to help guide recommendations and setting KPI metrics a plus.
