MVCC is seeking to fill a full-time, tenure-track, ten-month Instructor position in the School of Art. This position will provide instruction for the Digital Media and Marketing program with other courses in graphic design, photography, and video production. Teaching faculty at MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission of providing high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students. Full-time faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance with established policies and guidelines. Courses may be taught in traditional classroom settings and over the Internet. This position may include both daytime and evening classes on our Utica and/or Rome campuses. Specific assignments will be made according to the academic qualifications and availability of the individual and the School needs. In addition to teaching digital media and marketing courses, full-time instructors participate in program assessment, curriculum development, student advisement and facilitating student internship experiences, as well as recruiting for the program. They serve as members of various School and College Committees.

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Video Production or related field with experience in marketing and social media management
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in related field with experience in teaching, publication design, production of promotional materials, and student recruitment
