York College of Pennsylvania?s Graham School of Business is seeking an Assistant Professor of Marketing. The Assistant Professor of Marketing is a FT, tenure-track position that will teach in-person, undergraduate marketing classes (a 4/4 teaching load is standard), produce research that supports GSB accreditation efforts, and conduct service appropriate to their rank and tenure. The successful candidate will most likely teach Consumer Behavior, Marketing Measurement & Analytics, Retailing, and Principles of Marketing. The successful candidate may also be required to teach other business classes as needed, including graduate classes.
Teaching four 3-credit face-to-face courses each semester (fall and spring). Courses may include, but are not limited to, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Measurement & Analytics, Retailing, and Principles of Marketing.
Advising undergraduate students in marketing and other business majors.
Maintaining a program of scholarly research resulting in publication in peer-reviewed venues.
Engaging in service to the department, school, college, and community.
Representing the department and school at events, including recruitment events.
Earned doctorate (by August 2025) in marketing or a closely related field (e.g., IMC or PR) from an accredited school is required.
Experience teaching face-to-face undergraduate collegiate marketing courses in a school of business is required.
Work experience in a marketing, sales, or PR position that will translate well to the classroom is required.
