The School of Business at Gordon College is seeking the right individual to join our growing faculty team! Gordon College invites applications for a full-time, nine-month Associate or Full Professor in the Practice of Digital Marketing and Communications. The position is a three-year, non-tenure track, renewable appointment. Rank will be commensurate with experience and education. The position will begin in August 2025, with flexibility for an earlier start as soon as May 2025. The successful candidate will be a faculty member in the School of Business but hold a joint appointment with Communication Arts and collaborate closely with the Communication Arts faculty in the Adams School of Music and the Arts. Teaching responsibilities will be roughly a 50% split between both Schools. The successful candidate will also help to facilitate internship opportunities for students interested in digital marketing and communications and participate in other associated service activities, including advising students with a Digital Marketing and Communications major.
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate a dynamic Christian faith.
Have an advanced degree in marketing and/or communications or in a related field.
Have significant industry or teaching experience in digital marketing and communications.
Have experience in and/or ability to teach the following topics: Digital Marketing, Motion Graphics, Web Design, Marketing Research, and other related topics.
