The Department of Business Administration at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) invites applications for a new tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor. Employment will begin August 2024. The department seeks a faculty member who can teach a variety of marketing classes. Along with introductory-level marketing, we are especially interested in candidates who can teach courses in the following areas:
Digital Marketing
Social Media Communications
Marketing Channels
Professional Sales/Sales Management.
In addition to teaching, this position requires mentoring business students, participating in university service, assisting with curriculum management, and engaging in appropriate scholarship.
Candidates must have graduated from a regionally accredited institution. Applicants are expected to have earned a PhD or DBA in a business-related field by August 1, 2025.

The person hired into this position will have a chance to contribute to the re-envisioning of the marketing curriculum.
