Job SummaryReporting to the Associate Creative Director, Brand and Design Lead, the Graphic Designer is responsible for concepting, designing, and delivering a high volume of creative print and digital marketing materials including, but not limited to brochures, posters, invitations, signage, newsletters and stationery. The Graphic Designer will produce work that exemplifies and advances the college's brand and achieves stated stakeholder or institutional marketing goals. The Graphic Designer is responsible for managing requests from various stakeholders across campus and partnering with them-interpreting, clarifying, and prioritizing marketing goals, delivering preliminary designs, and managing revision and approval process-while advocating for best design practices and the college's identity standard. The Graphic Designer will work closely with copywriters, strategists, and other creative professionals, as well as the print production team to ensure that all assets are delivered on time and to the college's production and brand standards. Additionally, the Graphic Designer will serve as an integral part of the College Marketing and Communications team, responsible for concepting, designing, and delivering assets institutional brand and marketing campaigns, targeting prospects, alumni, and existing students. The Graphic Designer collaborates daily with Associate Creative Director on large design projects as well as the high volume design and print request queue. This position may be responsible formanaging freelancers during periods of high volume. Major Areas of Responsibility
Create beautiful and impactful marketing materials-including posters, brochures, booklets, directories, forms, invitations, announcements, newsletters, and stationery-that adhere to the college's brand guidelines and improve the college's brand awareness and reputation
Collaborate with photographers, multimedia producers, copywriters and social media managers to advance storytelling and develop sophisticated marketing campaigns and assets
Collaborate with campus-wide internal marketing stakeholders to prioritize inbound requests, set deadlines, manage project execution, track and report results, and meet deadlines
Coordinate feedback, revision, and approvals processes with external stakeholders; streamline intake and delivery processes
Prepare final production art files, ensure final deliverables are reviewed, edited, and print-ready, and collaborate with Graphic Arts to deliver final products to stakeholders Minimum Qualifications
BFA or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A minimum of 3-5 years of design work and experience, preferably at a consumer brand and/or in a higher education setting.
Command of current design software programs including Adobe Creative Suite and an eagerness to stay current on design industry advancements and new technologies
Demonstrated skills in developing creative concepts across channels-including digital assets-for a variety of different audiences
Portfolio and candidate must exhibit exceptional creative skills in typography, layout, color, form and composition
Knowledge of printing, proofing, proper file set up, fonts, and color management
Experience with pre-press and printing processes
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of digital asset creation and motion graphics a plus
Must be a highly motivated and detailed oriented individual who can maintain a positive attitude, while managing multiple projects with varying deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Core Competencies

This is a full time, exempt level position with a salary range of $57,100-$64,000. The College is committed to providing competitive market pay for its employees. The College also offers a competitive benefits package for full-time staff, including:

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement - upon hire, candidates will need to live within commuting distance
