GENERAL SUMMARY: Under the general direction of the Regional Director of Home Health, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for establishing a positive image for AdventHealth Home Care Gordon with all its publics through the coordination of marketing and media strategies that communicate the capabilities, programs, and accomplishments of home care.
As a hospital-based agency this position is responsible for educating hospital departments, clinical teams, and physicians regarding the eligibility of patients for home care and providing input into the clinical challenges of the institution and the role that home care could provide. ·Prepares and implements annual marketing plans for assigned service lines after thorough market analysis. Follows compliance guidelines for advertising/marketing activities.
·Completes projects and produces materials and/or events within established or adjusted budget and time parameters. Effectively communicates to all necessary parties any event or situation which may impact the budget or time frame, and secures appropriate understanding and approvals to facilitate project completion.
·Coordinates the creation of materials in support of the home care strategies in conjunction with AdventHealth Gordon’s Marketing and Community Relations Director.
·Coordinates with AdventHealth Gordons’s Marketing and Community Relations Director, the placement of approved home care advertising (including newspaper, community publications, radio and television) to present a unified and effective public perception.
·Coordinates with AdventHealth Gordons’s Marketing and Community Relations Director market research activities including market analysis and reporting as directed.
· Works effectively with the home care team, physicians, patients, and referral sources information needed to provide close continuity of care from the institution to the home.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
·BSN or a bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
·Currently licensed to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Georgia.
·Must have excellent communication skills, flexible, and able to interact positively with associates. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·Demonstrate knowledge of community resources and the medical community. Demonstrate understanding of the home health care delivery system and patient eligibilities. Ability to function with minimal supervision, problem solve, prioritize and make decisions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·2-years of nursing experience
·or 1-year of marketing experience required
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
·RN/LPN
