Job Description Summary This position is in charge of actively recruiting and enrolling new graduate students to the university by articulating the benefits prospective students receive by attending Bentley University via multi-channel marketing efforts (email, print, social). The assistant director will promote and market the institution by providing brand and informational messaging to various external constituencies including prospective students, community-based organizations, corporate partners, and others.
Essential Duties
Ensure clear and consistent articulation of the Bentley graduate programs brand across print and email messaging.
Partner with the Director to develop multi-channel recruitment cycle communication plans and tracking systems.
Responsible for the project management of email deployment in CRM system (Slate).
Assist the print development process by managing inventory and proofing all print pieces.
Collaborate with central marketing to align messaging with university-wide campaigns and ongoing digital efforts.
Other Duties
Assist with any professional activities needed by Graduate Admission as determined by the demands of the admission cycle.
Actively participate in on-campus events, primarily for supporting the invite communications.
May supervise, lead and instruct student workers in various clerical and project functions, provide feedback to their supervisors where appropriate.
Occasionally assist Undergraduate Admission marketing and events during busy times in the recruitment/yield season.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required plus at least 2 years of admission or marketing experience. Other highly relevant experiences such as event planning will also be considered.
Organizational and analytical abilities, professional communication skills, creative thinking, ability to manage multiple projects, and belief in the value of a higher education and the capacity to articulate those benefits to the public. A sense of humor also valued.

Work Environment
Typical office environment with extensive sitting and computer work.
Ability to travel within and outside of campus for meetings and other work related events, travel may occur outside of normal business hours including weekends and nights.
Ability to carry and lift materials used for various events.
