We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Institutional Marketing Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
A Singapore-based role reporting to the Regional Head of Institutional & Product Marketing, responsible for driving marketing strategies for the institutional segment in the ASEAN region, to help achieve its business growth.
This role is part of the Asset Management Marketing & Client Experience team and while the role primarily supports Institutional Marketing, you will be required to work across the spectrum of Propositions and Products in the HSBC Asset Management business, as required.
Key responsibilities in this role are:
Undertake planning, development and management of all marketing strategies aimed at acquiring business from new and existing Institutional clients in Singapore & broader ASEAN region
Plan and execute campaigns utilising traditional media, social and digital media, website, events, partnerships, collaterals, etc. to raise the profile of HSBC AM amongst institutional clients
Work closely with the institutional sales team to understand and fulfil client needs institutional audiences, and deliver marketing plans, initiatives, materials and activities to meet the needs of those clients ??? including digital delivery
Develop and deliver client communications in a highly regulated environment through innovative thinking
Manage, track and report the costs, efficiencies and ROI of marketing activities
Track and analyse competitors??? activities as well as industry trends with the aim of enriching HSBC AM???s marketing proposition
Establish collaborative relationships with various internal stakeholders including - Investments, Compliance, Product Marketing, Marketing Delivery, Product Development etc. to ensure marketing activities are delivered in a smooth and timely manner
Build relationships with HSBC Group businesses including GB&M and CMB, to facilitate collaborative marketing efforts and aid the Institutional Business in achieving its objectives
Partner with the Communications Team to identify and leverage external and internal publicity opportunities
Manage external vendors such as creative agencies, media planners, production houses and event organisers
Ensure Global Standards, core process and procedures are followed and monitored, and global and local compliance and audit requirements are fully met
Project manage to ensure marketing activities are delivered in an accurate and timely fashion

Requirements
University graduate
At least 5 years??? asset management marketing experience, preferably covering the institutional segment
Credible experience delivering campaigns and projects across the marketing mix (ATL, BTL, digital, events, etc.)
Experience in Singapore/ASEAN market with strong understanding of the local regulations, client profiles and competitive landscape
In-depth knowledge of investment terminology and understanding of portfolio management concepts and industry
Excellent communication skills. Native-level written and oral English language proficiency
Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work with teams of different backgrounds
Strong project management skills - deadline and detailed-oriented
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
