MARKETING SPECIALIST, MIT Professional Education (PE), to work under the direction of the assistant director of marketing and business development and play a crucial role in supporting the marketing and communications team in executing effective marketing campaigns and initiatives. Will be involved in a wide range of activities, including event coordination, social media management, content creation, and data analysis. Duties include producing and editing communications for PE programs; managing the PE marketing email accounts; curating social media and coordinating responses; updating web content; scheduling meetings; coordinating and maintaining marketing assets; attending conferences; and assisting with communications and marketing activities, events, and campaigns.

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree; at least three years of related experience; ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, high-volume environment. excellent organizational, multitasking, and written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office, Macs, marketing software, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, and analytics platforms; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Drupal, Salesforce, Pardot, web content management systems, marketing automation tools, project management software, social media management software, Slack, basic HTML, SEO, Google Analytics, digital marketing channels, social media, content marketing, and email marketing; and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
