Position Summary:
The YU Innovation Lab is hiring a Operations & Marketing Intern (Spanish/English bilingual) to support programs and marketing for Business Hive in the Heights initiative. This is a one-year position, starting Summer or Fall 2023.
This is a great opportunity to develop management, marketing, and leadership skills while gaining exposure to YU's flagship ecosystem fostering synergetic empowerment for students and the business community.
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with the I-Lab team to support Business HIVE In the Heights programming and events.
Support communication between principal cohorts, student consultants, and I-Lab staff.
Serve as a dedicated marketing and content creator for the program, including designing marketing collateral, and maintaining a coordinated social media outreach calendar.
Must have interest in community and government relations, entrepreneurship, or business development.
Expected commitment: 10 hours/ week, $19/hr.
Experience & Educational Background:
Desired: proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent project and time management skills.
Effective communicator.
Strategic and analytical thinking.
Self-driven, organized, and flexible.
Ability to identify and assess objectives, deliverables, impact and troubleshoot problems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Salary Range:
$19 - $19 per hour.
