Overview
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director at the Fubon Center for Technology, Business and Innovation. The Assistant Director will organize events, communicate with stakeholders, and assist with fundraising efforts. They will also plan, create and deliver digital and traditional marketing and communications content via the Center's social media and email marketing channels. The Assistant Director will create content for and maintain the Center's website, aligning the Center's website and digital content with strategic marketing goals of the School and the Center. They will manage and organize events sponsored by the Center, including academic conferences, smaller group roundtables, in-person and online fireside chats, and manage relationships with student clubs. They will create new student-facing activities and collaborations, and assist in developing and maintaining business relationships with external constituencies, including advisory boards, executives in residence, potential funders and alumni to promote the Center's mission and increase the Center's external visibility. The Assistant Director will create and manage an annual budget, including tracking and reconciling all financial transactions. They will identify funding opportunities and draft materials to support the Center's research grant applications under the general guidance of the senior leadership. They will also supervise student employees and evaluate overall effectiveness of Center's events, activities and programs and recommend improvements to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years relevant experience in event planning, digital marketing and social media communications and developing web content, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They will also have relevant program support experience, including planning events and activities, community building and outreach.Â
Qualifications
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000 to USD $80,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
