The Digital and Marketing Events Manager will play an integral role at the Alumni Association by leading the digital engagement events strategy, connecting revenue partners to the alumni audience through events, and engaging alumni with current and recorded digital events across the University. This role will keep the UMAA abreast of digital engagement trends, manage Gold Mind, deepen relationships with UMAA members, and help the UMAA meet revenue goals with revenue partners and members.
Responsible for aligning the UMAA digital engagement events and operations to the UMAA strategic plan.
Serve as digital events expert for the UMAA by ensuring digital event documentation is updated and consults/supports webinars, hybrid events, and virtual programming led by other engagement staff.
Plan, execute, and lead virtual and/or in-person UMAA member-exclusive events throughout the year to grow member loyalty, including but not limited to:
Golden Book Bag
Lead, execute, and coordinate virtual and/or in-person events with revenue partners to help grow revenue.
Oversee engagement and marketing strategy of Gold Mind, the UMAA’s online repository of University faculty and expert videos.
Develop webinars around current “hot topics” with faculty, alumni experts, or revenue partners as needed.
Manage the Distinguished Teaching Awards reception and promote award winners in partnership with the Provost’s Office.
Capture and use digital engagement event data to drive higher engagement among alumni.
NonâEssential Functions: Research new digital platforms and monitor industry trends.

The salary range for this position is $45,000-$55,000 plus generous benefits and paid leave.
BA/BS plus at least two years of experience.
Experience in a complex organization working with constituents/customer audiences to deliver high quality customer services.
Experience managing multiple projects to meet competing deadlines.
Strong marketing skills.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Strong digital technology skills including experience with video and webinars.
Proficiency with web-based applications and platforms.
Has experience with event planning and is knowledgeable about event logistics.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
