The ADX role is pivotal in cultivating and strengthening donor relationships, aligning donor interests with university needs, and working with the Engagement Center to inspire increased philanthropic engagement. Through personalized outreach and innovative digital communication, the ADX will engage current and potential donors, oversee the management of a portfolio of donor prospects for Engagement Center and Donor Experience Officer strategy, and actively support the Universityâ™s fundraising goals by focusing on annual gifts in the $0-$10,000 range.Minimum QualificationsBachelorâ™s degree and at least one year of work experience in fundraising, direct sales, customer service, marketing or related fields OR five years equivalent professional experience.Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Digital marketing and video creation experience.Strong organizational skills, including project management, passion for philanthropy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.Successful experience in creating relationships with clients, customers, volunteers or work groups.Demonstrated ability to be a positive contributing member of multiple teams.Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.Preferred QualificationBachelorâ™s degree and professional experience in sales, customer service, communications or another related field.Professional experience in fundraising, non-profit operations, alumni relations, digital marketing, client relations, community engagement and outreach or another related field.Experience with management and supervision of staff.Knowledge of the Mankato community and University.Data analysis experience used in strategic decision making.Other RequirementsWork safely at all times, which includes but is not limited to, participating and completing all required safety trainings, as well as performing all job tasks in accordance with Minnesota State University, Mankato policies and procedures utilizing appropriate tools, equipment and personal protective equipment.The Minnesota State University, Mankato Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available for your review. About Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, System Office
With its 31 institutions, including 24 two-year colleges and seven state universities, the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system is the largest single provider of higher education in the state of Minnesota. The colleges and universities operate 54 campuses in 47 Minnesota communities and serve about 250,000 students in credit-based courses. Overall, the system produces about 33,500 graduates each year. In addition to credit-based courses, the system offers customized training programs that serve about 153,200 employees from 6,000 Minnesota businesses each year. The law creating the system was passed by the Minnesota Legislature in 1991 and went into effect July 1, 1995. The law merged the state's community colleges, technical colleges and state universities into one system. The system is separate from the University of Minnesota.
