The Associate Director, Annual Giving for Homewood Undergraduate Giving in the centrally-based Office of Annual Giving (OAG) reports to the Director of Strategic & Divisional Priorities in OAG.
The Associate Director, Homewood Undergraduate Giving is a member of the Strategic and Divisional Priorities team within OAG. Fast-paced and highly variable, this role is best suited for an individual with deft interpersonal skills and collaborative instincts, high adaptability and creativity, strong communicative abilities, and intellectual curiosity. The Associate Director serves as a strategic partner and service provider focusing primarily on growing undergraduate alumni participation and revenue for the two flagship schools of undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University—the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering, as well as Blue Jays Unlimited.
The Office of Annual Giving is a growing team that currently consists of 8 colleagues who provide annual giving services to the nine schools of the university, various departments of Johns Hopkins Medicine, and several centers and institutes, totaling over 25 partners. These annual giving services include developing comprehensive and integrated solicitation strategies that are optimal for each development unit and are data-driven. Like all offices and units in Development and Alumni Relations (DAR), OAG is committed to a donor-directed philanthropy philosophy.
Specific Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and three years of related experience in direct mail and digital marketing for development and alumni relations, non-profit media and/or communications.
