Marketing Contractor

Solar Energy Trade Shows is looking for a creatively driven marketing professional to join our dynamic event planning team. You are a witty writer, loves using at data to tell a story, can create a killer social media campaign, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.  

This is a temporary contract position and will run through June 2021, with the opportunity for fulltime employment. This contract position and the contractor is required to provide all equipment. Time commitment is approximately 30-40 hours a week.  

Your day-to-day: 

• Create and implement marketing campaigns to support attendee and exhibitor acquisition, and further the education presence of SETS programs
• Create content and maintain social media platforms for all events, including partner and sponsorship content 
• Manage and maintain brand consistency across SETS websites including events.solar, smartenergyweek.com, and SETS.solar 
• Support media partner program by managing the fulfillment calendar 
• Track marketing analytics, including web traffic, retargeting performance, and email trends to ensure attendance is tracking & make proposals for more effective copy as needed 
• Manage the Solar Power Events container app 
• Handle light graphic design work, specifically for social media
• Act as marketing lead for specific events and/or initiatives, including our sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion programs.  

Compensation range is $30-$40/hour.
