Primarily responsible for implementing a range of marketing communications strategies to achieve key performance indicators for a portfolio of academic programs.
Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail, strong follow through, ability to approach marketing strategies holistically, and demonstrates excellent communication skills.
Develops a deep knowledge of program audiences and drives recommendations for and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics to attract prospective students for a portfolio of academic programs with the goal of generating inquiries and converting them into applicants.
Owns the day-to-day relationships with the academic program and enrollment management teams in fulfilling marketing requests in a timely manner and proactively communicating marketing updates.
Collaborates closely with the marketing analyst, other analytics teams, and social media team in communicating campaign performance reports and adjusting tactics accordingly.
Collaborates closely with the creative team in developing and implementing digital and traditional marketing communications campaigns.
Develops eye-catching advertising copy to generate leads and utilize A/B testing tools to validate campaign effectiveness.
Helps coordinate content creation with the intent to position the programs as thought leaders in respective industries and develop tactics to distribute the content via appropriate advertising channels.
Helps manage relationships with third-party vendors, communicating the marketing strategies established for each program, discussing tactical execution, and providing feedback.
Manages information flow between marketing and enrollment management for event creation and communication, and prospect leads.
May participate in developing new products and services, and determining new markets. Acts as a resource for and trains lower level marketing staff. May attend trade shows as needed.
May assist managing relationships with external sales agencies.
Performs other related work as needed.
Bachelorâ™s degree in communications, advertising, marketing, business administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years related experience at an advertising agency and/or in higher education marketing.
Technical Skills or Knowledge:
Willing to learn new marketing and project management tools.
Within Slate CRM,Â develop marketing strategies to enhance engagement with prospective students.
Proficient with Wrike and Slate CRM.
High level of attention to detail.
