The Graphic Design/Marketing Intern will be responsible for providing support to the Plastic and Oral Surgery Marketing Team, including:
Designing clear and engaging graphic communications for print and web publication. This will include marketing/communication brochures, annual report preparation, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers and other marketing materials as needed.
Drafting copy/developing assets for departmental social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn).
Assisting with community management across all social accounts.
Taking and editing photos for social media posts.
Assisting with other design and marketing projects as needed.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Currently in pursuit of associate's, bachelor's, or graduate degree at an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree of study in marketing, advertising, graphic design, or closely related field.
Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop and/or other common design applications.
Availability to be on-site at Boston Children's Hospital for occasional on-site projects.
Experience managing social media accounts.
Photography and video editing experience preferred.
Creative self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration.
Ideal candidate will be energetic, task-oriented, and creative with strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to communicate well with others and maintain a professional demeanor.
