This Senior Marketing Director will be responsible to:
Lead the marketing and communications teams - Inspire and motivate others to perform well; provide appropriate recognition and coaching; display passion and optimism; mobilize others to fulfill the vision; Inspire respect and trust; delegate and engage staff appropriately; communicate change effectively; provide regular performance feedback; foster quality focus in others; Embrace accountability.
Oversee the development of the Hospital's communications including advertising, the annual report, marketing collateral materials.
Define research requirements and key performance indicators, and measures, tracks and reports success of marketing efforts. Communicate and apply market research insights to key internal constituents and business planning efforts.
Direct efforts to build local, regional, national and international volume and reputation for prioritized service lines as measured by increases in unique patients, visits, referrals, etc. Determine specific diagnoses/conditions, programs and centers to focus on in concert with other strategic leaders and the Hospital's mission as a safety net provider for the most complex cases.
Develop and track relevant measurements of reputation and volume building for Hospital and its physicians. Develop and track relevant competitive information on local and national basis. Drive strategies for increasing share of market.
Identify new and innovative approaches and technology for building, measuring and tracking reputation and volume for hospital and its physicians; pilot those efforts for replication.
Direct the quantitative analysis and reporting of business performance, volume and market trends and implications of service line performance.
Create annual marketing plans that integrate Brand and department objectives and yield dominant position for the Hospital with local, regional, national and international markets.
Work closely with depts, physician organizations, Network Development, satellite locations and community hospital partners to integrate needs.
Collaborate with the Sr. Director Digital Marketing to align marketing campaigns with the digital experience, ensuring that MarCom team coordinates with Digital Marketing to align CRM (Customer Relationship Management)/PRM (Physician Referral Management) (MA) Marketing Automation priorities
To qualify, you must have:
A Master's degree in business, marketing or related field and 15+ years of marketing strategy, branding, preferably in the health care industry is required
Skilled at marketing, advertising, copywriting, editing and graphic design
Excellent leadership, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to manage diverse relationships, and to demonstrate interpersonal savvy, composure and listening skills
Experience in electronic commerce, digital media and one-to-one and one-to-many marketing
